Happy Sprouts Nanny Network is a premier sitter networking service dedicated to providing families with trustworthy, experienced, and compassionate caregivers locally. With a background in elementary education, child psychology, and hands-on parenting, we pride ourselves on understanding the unique needs of every family we serve as we screen potential nannies to join our team. At Happy Sprouts Nanny Network, we are a family-focused, more affordable solution for childcare. Our mission is to connect families with exceptional caregivers while keeping the process straightforward, transparent, and budget-friendly.

What is the process for Families?
Our process is simple and thorough:
Register: Take a few moments to register as a Happy Sprout Family Member
Post your Job: We make it very easy to post the type of caregiver you are looking for & needs of the Job.
Sit back & Relax: Sitters that are interested will apply!
Review: You’ll review the candidates that have applied to find the perfect match. We recommend meeting them in person before hiring them!
Placement: Once you’ve selected your caregiver, you take over communication with them & you’re off!!
What is your process for Nannies/Sitters?
Our process is simple and thorough and totally FREE for amazing caregivers like you!
- Fill out the Application
- If selected, we’ll schedule a Zoom Interview
- Complete a Background Check & Profile
- TADAA! Welcome to the Happy Sprouts Team – you’ll have access to our exclusive job board to select the best job(s) to fit your schedule 🙂
How do you source and screen your nannies?
We recruit only highly-qualified nannies through online platforms, newspapers, and referrals. They need to have at least 3 years of experience, have a stong passion for working with kiddos, and pass background checks. Many of them will also be First Aid & CPR Certified!
What does the payment process look like?
HAPPY SPROUTS PAYMENTS:
OCCASSIONAL CARE: We make it very simple for you by charging the card on file when you submit your booking. Save on the “per booking” fee with our Membership.
PERMANENT PLACEMENTS: View our rates for full-time/part-time placements on our Rates Page.
PAYING YOUR NANNY/SITTER:
As this is a networking service, exact form of payment is decided between the Family and Caregiver. We help make this conversation a little easier by including “Preferred Method of Payment” on a Nanny’s profile.
If you are in need of assistance with these conversations, please reach out and we are happy to help coach you through this! We also have some resources we can share with families if you are looking to make a Full TIme Nanny a Household employee.
Can I talk to the references too?
Most certainly! We want to save you the time so we’ve already communicated with them, however, we understand that sometimes you want to hear straight from the source. So feel free to ask your Nanny for their references!
